About Me
I am the proud mother of 3 daughters (Delora, Tanesha and Tamika), 1 son, Derek, 10 grandchildren, and two great-grandson all whom I love very much. I am the self-published author of the book, “His” Gift to Me: Poetic Humanities, published by Xlibris, and it is available on Amazon. It is a book of poems expressing life in a poetic voice, and telling my story, your story, her story, and his story.
The Book
“His” Gift to Me: Poetic Humanities invites you in first – into your story, your emotions, your quiet thoughts and unspoken truths. Within these pages, you may recognize your own journey reflected in you; the moments of hurt and healing, love and loss, joy and growth.
Then, as you turn each page, the voice expands – becoming his story, her story, and ultimately a shared human experience. Through honest and compassionate poetry, the author gives language to both the inhibited and the bold, the introverted and the expressive spirit.
This collection doesn’t just speak to you; it walks with you – offering comfort, strength and a quiet encouragement to heal, move forward and live fully whole.
